Candida A. Manion, MPH, BBA—Executive Director
Candida has been the Executive Director of OCADVSA since June 2014. She brings to this position varied experience in aligning public health social-ecological systems approach to sustainability with business principles and practices. Previous to coming to OCADVSA, Ms. Manion served as supervisor at Norman Regional Health System, coordinating a single county program from the ground-up to expanding and managing very successful tri-county comprehensive tobacco control and prevention programs. With her strong grant writing and management skills, she has secured $3.46 million in grant funding since 2004.
Ms. Manion’s professional experience includes public health management, policy, and practice, advocacy, coalition and partnership development, public relations, and consulting and training. Ms. Manion earned her Master’s in Public Health (MPH) in Health Administration and Policy from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Oklahoma. In 2006, she graduated from the Norman Chamber of Commerce 25th Leadership Program. Ms. Manion has called Oklahoma home since 1997.
Kim is the Program Operations Assistant to the Certified Domestic and Sexual Assault Response Professional for OCADVSA. She assists in the CDSVRP certification process, which includes trainings and Continuing Educational Units.
Mackenzie Masilon, BA—Public Policy and Communications Coordinator
Mackenzie is the Public Policy and Communications Coordinator for OCADVSA. She is a graduate of UCO with a degree in Sociology-Human Services. She uses her prior experience in direct services and sexual violence prevention to advocate for policy reform for victims of domestic and sexual violence in Oklahoma. Mackenzie works in conjunction with the Executive Director and member programs to assess legislation, as well as fields all communications requests.
Jamie Bond, MA—Office Coordinator
Mrs. Bond is the Office Coordinator for OCADVSA. She is a graduate from USAO with a degree in Sociology, and also earned a Master’s in Human Services and Life Coaching from Liberty University.
